You get the cool T/A sports steering wheel, and it's mounted on a tilt column. The center console is great for resting your right arm, and your hand falls right on the stick shift. There are also some worthwhile upgrades like an AM/FM cassette stereo with aux input and R134a air conditioning (will need servicing before blowing cold again.) But your favorite parts on this coupe are what make it such a great sports car. There's a quality look on the bucket seats, door panels, carpeting, and more to make this inviting. ![]() The black accents of the outside get you ready for a full black package inside. Chrome bumpers were gone as these coupes evolved, but it still keeps the right amount of brightwork with the bright bezels and trim pairing with the upgraded American Racing 17-inch polished wheels. For example, 1974 was the year for black bumper trim, and so this one utilizes a coordinating Trans Am graphics package that includes black accenting and bold block hood bird. It's a full color package that was done with a careful eye. And because this was upgraded to the aggressive red paint later in life, it still retains a nice shine today. This one really gets the Trans Am style with all your favorite pieces, like the shaker hood, fender vents, flared fenders, and big rear spoiler.
